# Change Web Interface Language

The Cloud Voice management portal opens in English by default, but you can change the display language whenever you like. You might do this to match your own preferred language or to make the portal easier to use for whoever manages the system. The switch takes effect right away, with no save, restart, or sign-out required.

## Change the display language

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice management portal.
2. In the top-right corner of the page, click the account icon.

   The **Language** option lives inside this account menu, not under the main system settings. If you cannot find it, look here rather than in the Settings pages.

3. Choose **Language**, then pick the language you want.

   :::tip
   Note the path (account icon in the top-right, then **Language**) before you switch. If you pick a language you cannot read, you can follow the same path to change it back.

The portal updates to your chosen language immediately.

The change is instant: the portal re-displays its on-screen text (menus, buttons, and labels) in the new language. You do not need to save, restart the system, or sign out.
