# Manage Blocked Numbers

Once you have created blocked numbers lists, you can revise their details at any time or remove lists you no longer need. This page walks through both tasks.

:::note
Both tasks start from the same screen: **Call Features > Blocked/Allowed Numbers > Blocked Numbers**. That screen shows every blocked numbers list you have created, so you can review, edit, or delete them from one place.
:::

## Edit a blocked numbers list

Edit a list when a number needs to be added or removed, when the list name no longer describes its purpose, or when you want to change how the block is applied.

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice management portal and open **Call Features > Blocked/Allowed Numbers > Blocked Numbers**.
2. Find the list you want to change and click the edit icon on its row.

3. In the window that opens, adjust the list name, the number or numbers it contains, or the block type to match what you need.

   :::note
   The block type sets which direction the rule applies to, so choose the option that matches whether you want to stop the number from calling in, being dialed out to, or both.
   :::
4. Click **Save**, then **Apply** to put the changes into effect.

   :::caution
   **Save** stores your edits, but they do not take effect until you also click **Apply**. If you leave the page after saving without applying, the block will keep working with its old settings.
   :::

## Delete blocked numbers lists

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice management portal and open **Call Features > Blocked/Allowed Numbers > Blocked Numbers**.
2. To remove a single list:
   1. Tick the checkbox next to the list, then click the delete icon.

   2. Confirm by clicking **OK** in the prompt.
3. To remove several lists at once:
   1. Tick the checkboxes of every list you want to remove, then click **Delete**.
   2. Confirm by clicking **OK** in the prompt.

:::caution
Deleting a list takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Every number the list held is no longer blocked, so those numbers can once again dial into your system and receive calls from your extension users. If you still need those blocks, re-create the list.
