# Manage Custom Ringtones

Once you have uploaded custom ringtones to Cloud Voice, you can preview them, save a local copy, or remove the ones you no longer need. All of these actions live on a single page.

## Open the custom ringtone list

Sign in to the Cloud Voice management portal and navigate to **PBX Settings > Voice Prompt > Custom Ringtone**. Each ringtone you have added appears in the list, with its available actions in the **Operations** column.

PBX stands for Private Branch Exchange, the phone system that routes your calls. This page only manages ringtone files that have already been uploaded, so if the list is empty there is nothing to play, download, or delete yet.

## Manage a ringtone

Find the ringtone you want to work with, then use the icon in its **Operations** column:

- **Play**: Click ![Play the ringtone in your browser](/images/pbx/play.png) to listen to the audio file directly in the browser. Make sure your device volume is on, since the sound plays through your computer rather than a phone.
- **Download**: Click ![Download the ringtone](/images/pbx/download.png) to save the audio file to your computer. Downloading is also a quick way to keep a backup copy before you delete a ringtone you might need again.
- **Delete**: Click ![Delete the ringtone](/images/pbx/delete.png), then confirm by clicking **OK**.

Deleting a ringtone is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure the file is no longer assigned anywhere before you remove it, and download a copy first if there is any chance you will need it again.
