# Manage Paging Groups and Intercom Groups

Once a paging or intercom group exists, you can change its configuration at any time or remove it when it is no longer needed. Both tasks start from the same list in the web portal.

:::note
A **paging group** broadcasts a one-way voice announcement to several phones at the same time (listeners hear you but cannot talk back). An **intercom group** sets up a two-way conversation between members. Editing a group is how you change which extensions belong to it or adjust its other settings.
:::

## Edit a paging or intercom group

Use this when you need to change a group's members or settings, for example adding a new extension or renaming the group.

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice management portal and open **Call Features > Paging/Intercom**.
2. On the **Paging/Intercom List** page, find the group you want to change and click the edit icon ![Edit](/images/pbx/edit.png) next to it.
3. Adjust the group settings as needed.
4. Click **Save**, then **Apply** to put the changes into effect.

:::tip
**Apply** is what actually pushes your saved change out to the phone system. If you click **Save** but skip **Apply**, the change stays pending and will not take effect. Get in the habit of clicking **Apply** after every edit.
:::

## Delete a paging or intercom group

Use this to remove a group you no longer need so it stops appearing in the list.

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice management portal and open **Call Features > Paging/Intercom**.
2. On the **Paging/Intercom List** page, locate the group and click the delete icon ![Delete](/images/pbx/delete.png) next to it.
3. Click **OK** to confirm, then **Apply**.

:::caution
Deleting a group also deletes any paging or intercom call you had scheduled for it. If you only want to stop future scheduled calls, remove or edit the schedule instead of deleting the whole group.
