# Manage Scheduled CDR Delivery Tasks

A CDR (Call Detail Record) is the log entry the system creates for every call, holding details such as the caller, the number dialed, the time, and the call length. A scheduled CDR delivery task is a recurring job that gathers these records and emails them to the recipients you chose, on the schedule you set, without anyone having to export them by hand.

Once a task exists, you can change its settings or remove it at any time. Both actions live on the **Scheduled CDR** tab of the CDR page.

:::note
If no tasks appear on the **Scheduled CDR** tab, none have been created yet. This page only covers editing and deleting existing tasks, not setting up a new one.
:::

## Edit a scheduled CDR delivery task

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice management portal and open **Reports and Recordings > CDR**.
2. Switch to the **Scheduled CDR** tab and click the edit icon ![Edit](/images/pbx/edit.png) next to the task you want to change.

3. Update the task settings as needed.
4. Click **Save**.

:::tip
To change who receives a report or how often it goes out, edit the existing task instead of creating a second one. Two tasks with overlapping schedules will send duplicate emails to your recipients.
:::

## Delete a scheduled CDR delivery task

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice management portal and open **Reports and Recordings > CDR**.
2. On the **Scheduled CDR** tab, do the following:

   a. Click the delete icon ![Delete](/images/pbx/delete.png) next to the task you want to remove.

   b. Click **OK** in the confirmation dialog.

:::caution
Deleting a task cannot be undone. Once it is removed, its recipients stop receiving reports and the task's settings (schedule, recipients, and filters) are gone. If you only need to pause delivery for a while, edit the task instead so you do not have to rebuild it later.
