# Manage Scheduled Paging and Intercom Calls

Once you have set up scheduled paging or intercom announcements, you may need to adjust when they run or cancel them entirely. Both tasks are handled from the Scheduled Paging/Intercom list in the PBX web portal.

:::note
A scheduled paging or intercom call is an announcement the phone system plays automatically at a date and time you set, so nobody has to start it by hand. Paging is a one-way announcement broadcast to a group of phones or speakers (listeners cannot talk back), while intercom opens two-way audio and is auto-answered by the target phones. You edit and delete both from the same **Scheduled Paging/Intercom** page.
:::

## Edit a scheduled paging or intercom call

1. Sign in to the PBX web portal and open **Call Features > Paging/Intercom**.
2. Select the **Scheduled Paging/Intercom** tab, find the group you want to change, and click the edit icon ![Edit](/images/pbx/edit.png) next to it.
3. Change the settings as needed (for example the date, time, or the group members who receive the announcement).
4. Click **Save**, then **Apply** to put the change into effect.

:::caution
Your edits are not live until you click **Apply**. Clicking **Save** alone stores the change but keeps the old schedule running, so always finish with **Apply**. If you skip it, the announcement will still play using its previous settings.
:::

## Delete a scheduled paging or intercom call

1. Sign in to the PBX web portal and open **Call Features > Paging/Intercom**.
2. Select the **Scheduled Paging/Intercom** tab, find the group you want to remove, and click the delete icon ![Delete](/images/pbx/delete.png) next to it.
3. Click **OK** to confirm, then **Apply**.

:::caution
Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone. If you remove the wrong group, you will have to build the schedule again from scratch, so confirm you have the correct group selected before you click **OK**.
:::

After you apply the deletion, the announcement will no longer play at its scheduled date and time.
