# Delete AI Receptionists

Once an AI receptionist is no longer needed to handle incoming calls, you can remove it from your Cloud Voice system for good. This page walks through deleting a single receptionist, clearing several at once, or wiping the entire list.

Deletion is permanent. A removed AI receptionist and all of its settings cannot be recovered. Before you proceed, confirm that no inbound route or call flow still points to it, otherwise callers sent to that receptionist will no longer be answered.

## Before you begin

Sign in to the Cloud Voice web portal and open **AI > AI Receptionist** to display the list of configured receptionists.

## Remove a single AI receptionist

1. Find the receptionist you want to remove in the list.
2. Click the more-options icon ![More options](/images/pbx/move-vert-1.png) on that row.
3. Choose **Delete** from the menu.
4. Confirm by clicking **OK** in the dialog that appears.

## Remove several AI receptionists at once

1. Tick the checkbox beside each receptionist you want to remove.
2. Click **Delete** above the list.
3. Confirm by clicking **OK** in the dialog that appears.

## Remove every AI receptionist

1. Select the **All** checkbox at the top of the list to include every receptionist.
2. Click **Delete** above the list.
3. Confirm by clicking **OK** in the dialog that appears.

## Save your changes

After deleting, click **Apply** at the top of the page to commit the changes to your phone system.

Deletions stay pending until you click **Apply**. If you navigate away without applying, the receptionists you removed may still be active on the phone system.
