# Add an extension to your Favorites in the Cloud Voice App web client

Favorites let you pin the coworkers you reach out to most, so you don't have to scroll through the full directory every time you want to call or message someone. Follow these steps in the Cloud Voice App web client to add an extension to your Favorites list.

An extension is the internal number assigned to a person or device on your phone system (for example, 1001 for a specific desk phone or user). The **Extensions** page lists every extension on your account, so it is where you go to look someone up.

1. In the Cloud Voice App web client, open **Extensions**.
2. Click the extension you want to save. This opens that extension's detail page.
3. On the detail page, click the star icon ![Favorite star icon](/images/pbx/favorite.png).

   The extension is added to your Favorites list, giving you quick access to the people you contact most often.

   :::tip
   Your Favorites list is personal to your account: pinning an extension only changes your own view, not anyone else's. Use it as a shortcut for the handful of colleagues you call or message every day.
