# Manage Personal Contacts

Your personal contacts are private to you and never appear in the shared company directory. When you edit or delete one in the Cloud Voice App, the change carries over automatically to every client where you are signed in.

## Edit a contact

1. Open the **Contacts** section of the Cloud Voice App.
2. In the top-left corner, click the contact group selector and choose **Personal Contacts**.

   The group selector at the top-left controls which contact list is shown. It usually opens on the shared company directory, so you must switch it to **Personal Contacts** to see the private entries you can edit or delete here.

3. Find the contact you want to change and click the edit icon on its card.
4. Adjust any of the contact's details, then click **Save**.

## Delete contacts

1. Open the **Contacts** section of the Cloud Voice App.
2. In the top-left corner, click the contact group selector and choose **Personal Contacts**.
3. Remove contacts using whichever method fits your need.

### Remove a single contact

1. Click the more-options icon on the contact you want to remove, then select **Delete**.
2. Click **OK** in the confirmation dialog.

### Remove several contacts at once

1. At the top of the list, click **Delete** and choose **Bulk Delete**.
2. Select the checkbox for each contact you want to remove.
3. Click **Delete** in the top-right corner.
4. Click **OK** in the confirmation dialog.

### Remove every contact

1. At the top of the list, click **Delete** and choose **Delete All**.
2. Click **Confirm** in the dialog to clear all of your personal contacts.

Deleting a personal contact is permanent, and the removal syncs to your other Cloud Voice App clients right away.
