# Stop Rejected Calls from Ringing Other Endpoints

The same extension can be signed in on several places at once: a desk phone, the desktop app, the mobile app, and a web browser. Each of those signed-in places is called an **endpoint**. By default, declining a call on one endpoint does not stop the others, so the call keeps ringing everywhere the extension is registered. Turning on all-reject mode makes a single rejection apply to every endpoint at the same time.

:::note
An endpoint is any device or app where your extension is currently logged in. This setting only matters when your extension is registered on more than one endpoint at once.
:::

## Turn on all-reject mode

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice App desktop client and open **Preferences > Features**.
2. Under **Call**, tick **All Reject Mode for Endpoints**.

   ![All Reject Mode for Endpoints option under the Call preferences](/images/pbx/web-all-reject-mode.png)
3. Select **Save**.

:::caution
Once this is on, rejecting a call on any one endpoint cancels it on all of them. You can no longer decline on one device while letting the call keep ringing on another so you can pick it up there instead.
:::

## What happens next

Rejecting an incoming call on any one endpoint now stops every other endpoint from ringing. The call is then routed to the destination you have set for **When Busy**.

:::tip
Your **When Busy** destination is configured under **Preferences > Presence > Call Forwarding**. Set it to voicemail, another number, or another extension so rejected calls land somewhere useful instead of being dropped.
