# Disconnect HubSpot CRM Integration

Disconnecting the CRM integration fully removes the current HubSpot connection from your Cloud Voice phone system. A phone system can hold only one active CRM link at a time, so if you plan to connect a different CRM account, you must break the existing connection first.

:::note
CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management, the software that stores your customer records and call history. The PBX (Private Branch Exchange, the phone system that routes your calls) uses this link to match incoming callers to contacts and to log calls back into HubSpot.
:::

## Disconnect the integration

1. Sign in to the PBX web portal and open **Integrations > CRM**.
2. In the top-right corner, click **Cancel Integration**.

3. When prompted, click **OK** to confirm.

:::caution
Confirming the disconnect wipes every CRM integration setting, including your API credentials and field mappings. There is no undo. If you ever reconnect HubSpot (or connect a different CRM), you will have to enter all of these settings again from scratch. Once disconnected, calls stop syncing to HubSpot and inbound caller pop-ups no longer appear.
:::

## What happens next

- The HubSpot CRM integration is removed.
- Every CRM integration setting is cleared.
- Any phonebook and contacts that were synchronized stay on the phone system, and you can edit them directly from now on.

:::tip
Contacts that were already pulled into the phone system are kept, so disconnecting does not empty your phonebook. Because those contacts are now local, you can edit them directly on the PBX without HubSpot overwriting your changes.
