# Disconnect Red Hat SSO Integration

An SSO (Single Sign-On) integration lets your users sign in to Cloud Voice with the same account they use in an external directory, such as Red Hat. Cloud Voice can sync users from only one directory at a time, so before you switch to a different directory you must first disconnect the Red Hat SSO integration that is currently in place. Follow the steps below to remove it.

:::note
"PBX" (Private Branch Exchange) is the phone system that Cloud Voice runs for your account. The web portal is where you manage its extensions, users, and integrations.
:::

## Disconnect the integration

1. Sign in to the PBX web portal and open **Integrations > Collaboration**.

   :::note
   The Collaboration section lists every directory or third-party service currently connected to your phone system. The Red Hat SSO integration appears here once it has been set up.
   :::

2. On the integration page, click **Disconnect** in the top-right corner.

   :::caution
   Disconnecting stops Cloud Voice from syncing with the directory. After this, the affected users can no longer sign in through Red Hat SSO, so confirm you have another sign-in method (or a replacement directory) ready before you proceed.
   :::

3. A confirmation window opens. Set the options you need, then confirm:

   1. To also remove the PBX extensions that were created for the synced users, select **Delete the PBX extensions in sync with the Users**. Leave this checkbox clear to keep those extensions in place.
   2. Click **Confirm**.

   :::danger
   Selecting **Delete the PBX extensions in sync with the Users** permanently deletes every extension that was created for the synced users. Those users lose their calling capability, and the extensions cannot be recovered after you confirm. Only select it if you are certain those extensions are no longer needed.
   :::

   :::tip
   If you plan to move the same people onto a new directory, leave the delete checkbox clear. Keeping their extensions means you will not have to recreate and reconfigure them after the new integration is connected.
   :::

Once you confirm, the Red Hat SSO integration is disconnected and you are free to set up a new directory integration.
