# Check and Manage Recordings

The Cloud Voice App keeps your call recordings within reach on your mobile device, so you can listen back to a conversation or tidy up the list whenever you need to.

Anything you change here carries over to the Cloud Voice App on your other devices, so the recording list stays consistent across your desktop and web sessions too.

## Before you begin

Your system administrator must grant you permission to view recordings. Without it, the Recordings list will not be available to you.

## Play or remove a recording

1. In the mobile Cloud Voice App, open **Calls**, then tap **Recordings**.
2. Work with the recordings in the list:

   **Listen to a recording**

   Tap ![Play a recording](/images/pbx/play.png) beside the entry to start playback.

   **Remove a recording from the list**

   1. Press and hold the recording you want to clear.
   2. Tap **Remove** in the pop-up.

   The recording is deleted everywhere you use the Cloud Voice App, not just on this device.

   :::caution
   Remove permanently deletes the recording and syncs that deletion to your web and desktop sessions. There is no undo, so confirm you no longer need the audio before you tap Remove.
