# Configure Theme Settings

Out of the box, the Cloud Voice App tracks your phone's system theme, flipping between light and dark appearance whenever your device does. If you would rather lock the app to one look, you can override this and keep it in light mode or dark mode at all times.

## Requirements

Before you can pin a theme manually, confirm your device and app meet the minimums below.

| iOS | iOS 13 or later | 5.14.3 or later |
| Android | Android 10 or later | 5.14.4 or later |

If the device operating system or the app is older than the versions above, the manual theme control does not appear and the app stays on System Default. Update the operating system or the Cloud Voice App first, then retry.

## Set a fixed theme

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice App on your mobile device.
2. On the **Calls** screen, tap your account in the top-left corner.
3. Open **Settings > Select a Theme**.
4. Switch off **System Default**, then pick your preferred appearance under **Manual Mode**.

On iOS the change applies right away. On Android, save the setting and restart the Cloud Voice App for it to take effect.

## Result

The Cloud Voice App now uses the mode you selected and no longer follows your device's system theme.
