# Flip an Active Call between Devices

Call Flip lets you hand an active call off from the Cloud Voice app on your phone to any other device where your extension is signed in, with no break in the conversation. It is handy when, for example, a long call is running your phone battery down and you would rather finish it on your desk phone or a PC softphone (a phone that runs as an app on your computer).

## Before you start

- Your Cloud Voice app must be a supported version:
  - iOS: 4.9.5 or later
  - Android: 4.9.6 or later
- Your extension must be registered on more than one device, since the flip needs somewhere to send the call.

## Flip the call

1. While the call is connected, tap **Call Flip** on the call screen. Every other device where your extension is registered is listed.
2. Tap the IP (Internet Protocol) phone or Cloud Voice app client you want to move the call to. Cloud Voice then rings the client you signed in to or the registered IP phone.

   To stop the flip before it completes, tap **Cancel** on the call screen.

3. Answer the call on the target IP phone or Cloud Voice app client.

   :::note
   If your extension is registered on several IP phones or signed in to more than one Cloud Voice app, answering on any one of them stops the others from ringing.
   :::

## Result

The call moves off the Cloud Voice mobile app and continues on the device you chose.
