# Log in to the Cloud Voice App with a QR Code

Your welcome email includes a QR code that lets you sign in to the Cloud Voice App on your mobile device in a single scan, so you don't have to enter your extension credentials by hand.

## Before you start

Make sure the Cloud Voice welcome email has arrived in your inbox. It contains the QR code you'll scan during login.

If the welcome email never shows up, ask your system administrator to send it again.

:::caution
Each QR code works only once. After you have used it to sign in, it cannot be scanned a second time. If a scan fails because the code was already used, ask your administrator to send a fresh welcome email with a new code.

## Sign in

1. On the login screen, tap the scan icon ![Scan icon](/images/pbx/scan-03.png) in the top-right corner.
2. Point your camera at the QR code in the welcome email.

   The app reads your login details from the code and signs you in on its own.

   :::note
   The first time you log in with your extension account, you'll be prompted to accept the privacy policy and set a new password to replace the temporary one. Once you finish, sign back in to the Cloud Voice App using the password you just created.
