# Log in to the Cloud Voice App with a Microsoft Account

When your administrator connects Cloud Voice to Microsoft Azure Active Directory, you can skip the usual extension credentials and get into the mobile app straight from your Microsoft account.

:::note
Single Sign-on (SSO) lets you use one identity (your work Microsoft account) to reach several services. With SSO enabled, you do not create or remember a separate Cloud Voice password: Microsoft confirms who you are, and Cloud Voice trusts that confirmation.
:::

## Before you begin

Confirm the following before you try to sign in this way:

- Your administrator has linked Cloud Voice to **Microsoft Azure Active Directory** and turned on **Single Sign-on (SSO)**.
- You have the SSO server address from your administrator.
- Your Cloud Voice App is version 5.19.7 or later.

:::caution
The Microsoft sign-in option only appears when SSO is enabled on the server and your app is version 5.19.7 or later. If you do not see the Microsoft icon in step 3, update the app first, then check with your administrator that SSO is turned on.
:::

## Sign in

1. Launch the Cloud Voice App on your mobile device.
2. Type the server address into the **Domain** field.

   :::tip
   Enter the exact SSO server address your administrator gave you. It may differ from the domain you would use for a normal username-and-password login, so copy it carefully to avoid a failed sign-in.
   :::

3. Tap the Microsoft icon ![Microsoft sign-in icon](/images/pbx/ms-logo.png) and enter your Microsoft account credentials.

   Once Microsoft verifies your account, the app logs you in automatically.

   :::note
   If you are already signed in to your Microsoft account on this device, verification can finish without asking for your password again, and you land straight in the app.
