# Manage Personal Contacts

Your personal contacts are private to your extension and travel with you across every Cloud Voice App you sign in to. When you change or remove a contact on your phone, the update is applied everywhere automatically. This page covers editing and deleting personal contacts from the mobile app.

The list selector in the top-left corner switches between contact types. Personal contacts are the ones you added yourself, so they are the only ones you can edit or delete here. Company or shared directory entries are managed by your administrator.

## Edit a personal contact

1. In the Cloud Voice App, open **Directory > Contacts**.
2. Tap the list selector in the top-left corner and choose **Personal Contacts**.

3. Tap the contact you want to change, then tap the edit icon ![Edit](/images/pbx/edit.png) in the top-right corner.
4. Update any of the contact's details.
5. Tap the save control in the top-right corner to apply your changes.

## Delete personal contacts

1. In the Cloud Voice App, open **Directory > Contacts**.
2. Tap the list selector in the top-left corner and choose **Personal Contacts**.

:::tip
Use **Bulk Remove** when you want to pick specific contacts to delete, and **Remove All** when you want to clear every personal contact in one action.

3. To remove one or more specific contacts:

   1. Tap **Remove** in the top-right corner, then tap **Bulk Remove**.
   2. Select the checkbox for each contact you want to delete.
   3. Tap **Delete** in the bottom-right corner.
   4. Tap **OK** in the confirmation window.

4. To remove every personal contact at once:

   1. Tap **Remove** in the top-right corner, then tap **Remove All**.
   2. Tap **OK** in the confirmation window.

:::caution
Deleting personal contacts is permanent and the removal syncs to all of your Cloud Voice Apps. Deleted contacts cannot be recovered.
