# Rejoin a Conference Call

A weak signal or an unexpected shutdown of the Cloud Voice App can knock you out of an active conference call. As long as the meeting is still running, the app remembers your seat, so you can step back in once your connection recovers or the app is open again.

This is different from being intentionally removed by the host. If you left on purpose or the host dropped you, no rejoin banner appears. This flow is only for accidental disconnects (lost signal, the app closing, or a device restart).

## Rejoin the call

1. Get your device back on a stable connection: reopen the Cloud Voice App if it closed, and confirm you have working WiFi or cellular data.
2. Look at the top of the app screen for the banner that reads **You have a conference going on. Click to rejoin.**
3. Tap the banner.

The app places you back into the conference call.

If you are switching between WiFi and cellular, wait until one connection is solid before tapping the banner. Rejoining on an unstable signal can drop you out again.

:::caution
The rejoin banner only shows while the conference is still active. If every other participant has already hung up, or the meeting has ended, the conference is closed and the banner will not appear. In that case, ask the host to start the call again.
