# Reset Your Password on the Mobile App

If you can't remember your login password, you can set a new one yourself from the Cloud Voice App on your mobile device. A verification code sent to the email address on your extension confirms your identity, so no administrator action is needed.

This self-service reset only works when your extension has an email address associated with it. If no email is on file, or you no longer have access to that mailbox, you won't be able to reset the password on your own. Reach out to your system administrator, who can reset it for you.

## Reset your password

1. Open the Cloud Voice App and, on the login screen, tap **Forgot Password?**.
2. On the **Reset Password** screen, provide the following details:
   a. In the **Extension** field, type your extension number.
   b. In the **Email** field, type the email address tied to your extension.
   c. Confirm the server connection details.

      :::note
      The connection details for your Cloud Voice server usually fill in automatically. If the fields are blank, ask your system administrator for the correct values and enter them by hand.

   d. Tap **Send Verification Code**. A reset email arrives in your inbox containing a code you'll use in the next step.

      :::caution
      Each verification code works only once and expires 30 minutes after it is sent. If you enter it after it expires, or try to reuse one from an earlier email, the reset will fail and you will need to tap **Send Verification Code** again for a fresh code.

3. Enter the code in the **Verification Code** field, then tap **Next** to continue to the password screen.
4. Type your new password in both fields, then tap **Save**. Your login password is now updated.
