# Cloud Voice 84.23.0.83 V24.2

This page tracks the release history of firmware 84.23.0.83, following it from the early beta builds through to general availability. Use it to confirm which version your phone system should be running and what changed between builds.

## Getting the update

1. Sign in to the PBX (Private Branch Exchange, the phone system that routes your calls) admin portal.
2. Open the firmware update screen and check for available updates.
3. Apply the upgrade to your phone system.

:::tip
Checking for updates from the admin portal is the recommended path: it pulls the correct build for your hardware automatically, so you do not have to match a manual download to your model.
:::

:::caution
A firmware upgrade restarts the phone system, which drops any calls that are in progress. Schedule the upgrade during a maintenance window or a period of low call volume so you do not cut off active calls.
:::

- New features and improvements for the Cloud Voice App and its browser extension are published separately in the Cloud Voice App release notes, not on this page.
- If something does not behave as you expect, report it through your usual IZT support channel.
