# Configure Your Extension Profile

Your extension profile holds the personal details tied to your account, including the photo other users see, the contact addresses used for notifications, and the language spoken to you by the system during calls. Keep these fields current so calls, voicemail, and alerts reach you where you expect them.

## Open your profile

Sign in to the Cloud Voice App and go to **Preferences > User > User Information**.

## Add a profile photo

1. Click the camera icon ![Camera icon for uploading a photo](/images/pbx/camera.png).
2. Choose an image from your computer and click **Open**.
3. Click **Upload**.

Your photo must be a `.jpg` or `.png` file no larger than 1 MB.

## Fill in your account details

Complete the fields that apply to you:

- **First Name**
- **Last Name**
- **Email Address**: the address that receives your welcome email, voicemail messages, and event notifications.
- **Mobile Number**: the number that can receive calls and event notifications.
- **System Prompt Language**: the language used for the system prompts (the recorded messages the system plays to you) during a call.

Use an email address and mobile number you actually check. Voicemail messages and alerts are delivered to these fields, so a typo means you will miss them.

When you are finished, click **Save**.

Your changes only take effect after you click **Save**. If you leave the page first, the fields revert to their previous values.
