# Download Fax Data

Every fax you send or receive in the Cloud Voice App is recorded as a log entry, and the underlying document is stored alongside it. You can pull this data out whenever you need it: grab a batch of logs together with their fax files, or save a single document on its own.

Pick the method that fits the job. The bulk download also includes the `.csv` log, so reach for it when you need a record of the fax activity and not just the pages. When you only need one document to forward or file, the single-file download saves the `.pdf` on its own.

## Download logs together with their fax files

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice App and open **Fax Management > Fax**.
2. Optional: Use the filters above the list to find the entries you want.

   | Filter | What it does |
   | --- | --- |
   | Fax Direction | Choose **Send** or **Receive** to show only outbound or inbound faxes. |
   | Status | Restrict the list to faxes with a particular status. |

   For a tighter result set, apply the per-column filters within the list as well.

3. Tick the checkbox next to each log you want, then click **Download**.

   The export arrives as a `.zip` archive. Inside you'll find a `.csv` file holding the log details plus a `.pdf` for each fax document.

## Download a single fax file

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice App and open **Fax Management > Fax**.
2. Optional: Use the filters above the list to locate the log whose document you need.

3. Click the download icon ![download icon](/images/pbx/download.png) on the row for that log.
