# Manage Your Voicemails

The **Voicemails** page in the Cloud Voice App web client gathers all of your messages in one place, where you can play them back, read AI transcriptions, return calls, forward messages to colleagues, and tidy up your inbox.

## Open your voicemails

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice App web client.
2. In the left navigation bar, click **Voicemails**.

## Find a specific voicemail

If your list is long, narrow it down before you start:

1. Choose the message status you want to see.

2. Type a caller's name or number into the search bar.

## Work with your messages

Each row represents one message. Use the actions below on any voicemail, either from its inline buttons or by right-clicking the row.

:::tip
Right-clicking a record opens the same set of actions for that single message, which is often the quickest way to act on one voicemail.

:::note
- Anything you do here is synced across every Cloud Voice App client you use, so your inbox stays consistent on web, desktop, and mobile.
- A message tagged **Forwarded from: &lt;Extension Name&gt; - &lt;Extension Number&gt;** was passed along to you by another extension. Actions you take on it apply only to your copy and leave the sender's original message untouched.

### Play a message

Click the play icon ![Play](/images/pbx/play-on-page.png) to listen. An unread message is marked as read once you play it.

### Read a transcription

Click the transcript icon ![View transcription](/images/pbx/view-text-icon.png) or the AI transcription icon ![AI transcription](/images/pbx/ai-transcription.png) to see the message written out as text.

Transcription appears only when your system administrator has turned on voicemail transcription for the phone system and transcription time is still available.
:::

### Call the caller back

Double-click a record, or click the call icon ![Call back](/images/pbx/phone-call-1.png), to dial the person who left the message.

### Start a chat

Right-click a record and choose **Chat** to message the caller.

Chat is available for internal contacts only.

### Download a message

Click the download icon ![Download](/images/pbx/download.png) to save the audio file to your device.

### Forward messages to other extensions

Forwarding sends a copy to your colleagues; your own message stays in your list afterward, so you can keep managing it as usual.

**One message**

1. Click the forward icon ![Forward](/images/pbx/forward-voicemail.png) next to the message.
2. In the extension list that opens, select one or more extensions.
3. Click **OK** in the lower-right corner.

**Several messages at once**

1. Select the checkboxes of the messages you want to send.
2. Click **Forward** in the top menu.
3. In the extension list that opens, select one or more extensions.
4. Click **OK** in the lower-right corner.

### Mark messages as read

Select the checkboxes of the messages you want, then click **Mark as read**.

### Delete messages

:::caution
Deleting a voicemail is permanent and cannot be undone. The confirmation window is your last chance to cancel, so double-check your selection before clicking **OK**, especially when deleting several messages at once.
:::

- **One message:** click the delete icon ![Delete](/images/pbx/delete.png) next to it, then click **OK** to confirm.
- **Several messages:** select their checkboxes, click **Delete** in the top menu, then click **OK** to confirm.
