# Mark or Remove Favorite Contacts

Favorites give you a shortcut to the people you call the most. Once you flag a contact, it appears in a dedicated Favorite Contacts list, so you don't have to scroll or search each time you want to reach them. You can add or drop favorites at any point from the Cloud Voice App.

Favorites are personal to your account. Marking or unmarking a contact only changes what your own Favorite Contacts list shows. It does not edit the contact's details and does not affect what other users see.

## Add a contact to your favorites

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice App and open **Contacts**.
2. Locate the contact you want, click the more icon ![More options](/images/pbx/web-client-more.png), and choose **Add to Favorite Contacts**.

The contact is now flagged as a favorite and shows up in the **Favorite Contacts** list.

The Favorite Contacts list is one of your contact groups. To open it any time, use the group drop-down in the top-left corner of the workspace and choose **Favorite Contacts**.

## Remove a contact from your favorites

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice App and open **Contacts**.
2. In the top-left corner of the workspace, open the group drop-down ![Contact group selector](/images/pbx/web-group.png) and select **Favorite Contacts**.

   The group drop-down filters which contacts you see. Selecting **Favorite Contacts** shows only your flagged contacts. Switch it back to another group (such as your full contact list) when you want to see everyone again.

3. Find the contact, click the more icon ![More options](/images/pbx/web-client-more.png), and choose **Remove from Favorite Contacts**.

The contact is dropped from your **Favorite Contacts** list.

Removing a contact from favorites only unflags it. The contact stays in your contact list and none of its details change, so you can add it back to favorites later if you need to.
