# View Colleague Extensions

The Cloud Voice App gives you a live directory of everyone in your organization, so you can look up a coworker's extension, check their status, and start a call, chat, or voicemail without leaving the app.

## View the extension directory

1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice App (web).
2. In the left navigation bar, select **Extensions**.
3. Optional: Narrow the list to a specific group or department that the extension belongs to.

   :::note
   Every extension in the selected group or department appears in the directory by default, whether or not it is currently registered. An extension is registered when a desk phone or the Cloud Voice App is signed in to it and online, so an unregistered extension usually means no device is currently logged in. If you would rather hide extensions that are not registered, see [Configure Extension Display](/pbx/web-client-user-guide/configure-extension-display/).

   - To filter by group, open the group menu ![Group filter icon](/images/pbx/web-group.png) and choose a group. The app lists the extensions that belong to it.

   - To filter by department, pick a department from the organizational tree. The app lists the extensions in that department.

4. Select a coworker's contact card to open their details.

5. Optional: Use the icons on a contact card to reach or organize a coworker:

   - ![Favorite icon](/images/pbx/favorite.png) Add the extension to your **Favorites** list.
   - ![Audio call icon](/images/pbx/call.png) Start an audio call to the extension.
   - ![Video call icon](/images/pbx/hd-audio-and-video.png) Start a video call to the extension.
   - ![Chat icon](/images/pbx/team%20chat.png) Open a one-to-one chat.
   - ![Mobile phone icon](/images/pbx/extension-%20information-phone.png) Call the coworker's mobile number.
   - ![Voicemail icon](/images/pbx/voicemails-2.png) Leave a voicemail.

   Add coworkers you reach often to **Favorites**. Your Favorites list stays at the top of the directory, so you can start a call or chat without searching or scrolling each time.
