AI Overview

Cloud Voice includes a set of AI (artificial intelligence) capabilities that work directly on your calls, voice prompts, and messages. These features aim to reduce repetitive handling for your team while giving callers faster, more consistent service. Use this page as a map of what is available, then follow the links in each section to set up the individual features.

The AI Receptionist acts as a virtual front-desk assistant that is available around the clock (24/7). It answers incoming calls on its own, greets callers, shares information about your business, and responds to common questions without anyone stepping in. Drawing on caller intent, it then forwards each call to the right person or department, so callers reach their destination sooner.

To learn how to configure it, see AI Receptionist Overview.

AI Text-to-Speech (TTS) turns written text into natural-sounding audio. You type the wording you want and Cloud Voice generates the audio for you. The resulting files can serve as greetings, announcements, or any other voice prompt, making it easy to tailor what callers hear.

For details, see AI Text-to-Speech Overview.

Cloud Voice can convert spoken audio into readable text for both voicemails and live calls.

Messages left in a user’s voicemail are automatically written out as accurate text. Instead of listening to each recording, users can scan and manage their voicemails as text, which makes it quicker to find information and follow up.

Conversations between two parties are transcribed into text in real time, and once the call ends Cloud Voice produces a summary. Users can then review the full transcript along with key points and any action (to-do) items, without replaying the recording.
