πŸ”’ Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Overview

IZT Cloud Voice supports two-factor authentication (2FA) for the super administrator account. With 2FA enabled, both the account password and an additional authentication code are required for login, which adds an extra security layer to the PBX. This topic provides an overview of the supported two-factor authentication options.

Note: Extension users can also enable two-factor authentication for their own accounts on IZT Cloud Voice Web Client or Desktop Client, and then use the two-factor to log in to their IZT Cloud Voice clients.

Requirements

  • IZT Cloud Voice version 24.9.2 or higher.

Two-factor authentication by authenticator application

This method requires you to install an authenticator application on your phone. Supported applications include:

  • Google Authenticator
  • FreeOTP
  • Twilio Authy
  • Microsoft Authenticator

Two-factor authentication by Email

This method allows the authentication code to be sent to the email address associated with the super administrator account. You need to configure the email settings in advance.
