📞 Log in to a Hot Desking Phone
This topic describes how extension users can log in to a hot desking phone.
Prerequisites
- You have set up hot desking phones.
- Hot desking feature must be enabled for the users' designated extensions.
- Have user credentials ensuring valid log configured expected valid registration.
Procedure
Extensions users can log in to a hot desking phone via any of the following methods:

| Dial feature code | 1. On a hot desking phone, dial the Guest In feature code. The default Guest In feature code is *048. Customize the feature setup via portal: Call Features > Feature Code > Hot Desking > Guest In. 2. Follow voice prompt, enter extension number followed by password. 3. Configuration verifying updated. |
| Press BLF key | 1. If pre-configured, press Guest In BLF key. Validate if Guest configured and key logic. 2. If issue persists holding key-check validating status basis. |

- The user's extension settings loaded on phone:
- The user validates session settings.
- Local calls pull data accordingly the LDAP options.
