Voice prompts are pre-recorded messages that are played to callers. This overview explains the different types of voice prompts and how to manage them in the IZT Cloud Voice system.

What is a voice prompt

A voice prompt is a recorded audio message played to callers. Voice prompts can be customized to provide instructions, input data, or deliver information.

Voice Prompt Types

IZT Cloud Voice supports three types of voice prompts:

System Prompt

Pre-recorded prompts for system messages. Users can select languages, tones, etc.

Voice Prompt Preference Settings

Navigation path: PBX Settings > Voice Prompt > Prompt Preferences

Music on HoldThe playlist played when a call is on hold.
Music on Hold for Call ForwardingThe playlist played when a caller is put on hold during call forwarding.
Invalid Phone Number PromptPrompt played when an invalid number is dialed.
Busy Line PromptPrompt played when a called line is busy.
Call Failure PromptPrompt played when a call fails to connect.
Event Notification PromptPrompt played when PBX initiates a call for a specific event.
Play Call Forwarding PromptNotify whether to inform the user that the current call will be forwarded.
