This topic describes setting up an SMTP server, an email template, email daily sending limit, and email sent logs.

Email Server

Emails to users of the administrator are required in the following situations:

  • Send IZT Cloud Voice welcome email.
  • Send verification email to the extension user.
  • Send voicemail to an email.
  • Send event notifications.

You can set the default SMTP server or custom SMTP server to send emails:

Email Template

IZT Cloud Voice provides different email templates for different events, you can also customize email templates according to your needs. For more information, see Customize Email Templates.

Email Daily Sending Limit

If you use a custom SMTP server to send emails, you need to know that email server limit the number of emails that users can send per day to keep system healthy and account safe.

πŸ“§ When the email daily sending limit is reached, users can NOT send emails via the email server.
