π Voicemail Overview
IZT Cloud Voice integrates a comprehensive voicemail system. This topic describes the voicemail types, voicemail usages, voicemail personalization, and the adjustable voicemail capacity and limitations.
Voicemail Types
IZT Cloud Voice provides the following types of voicemail:
- Extension Voicemail: Individual voicemail boxes for each extension.
- Group Voicemail: Group Voicemail is a feature to share the workload of managing and responding to voicemail messages. Extensions sharing a group voicemail box can access messages together. For example, after setting up a group voicemail for Support team, any member of the group can receive and listen to the Support team messages. They can leave annotations or mark messages as read or unread.
Voicemail Usages
IZT Cloud Voice provides flexible ways to use voicemail:
- Extension Voicemail: Allow each extension to have a voicemail where the extension user is unable to take a call.
- Forward Extensions: Allow forwarding voicemail sent to the extension to other extensions.
- Ring Group Voicemail: Provide voicemail capabilities for a ring group.
- Queue Voicemail: Collect voicemail messages from customers when agents are busy.
- IVR Voicemail: Route voicemail messages through an IVR system to the intended extensions.
