π« Block Calls To or From a Phone Number
IZT Cloud Voice allows you to block incoming and outgoing calls by phone numbers. To stop nuisance calls, you can add phone numbers to the system blocklist. Blocked numbers can be global to the PBX, an individual extension, or both.
Restriction
- Blocked numbers function at the PBX level and will not apply to other systems.
- There are limits to the number of extensions and blocked numbers per list.

Background Information
IZT Cloud Voice provides flexible options for blocking inbound and outbound calls based on the caller ID.
- Inbound: Block numbers from calling into the PBX.
- Outbound: Block numbers from calling out from the PBX.
- Both: Block numbers both ways.
Procedure
- Log in to the PBX web portal, go to Call Features > Blocked/Allowed Numbers > Blocked Numbers.
- Click Add to set up a blocked number list.

- In the pop-up window, configure as follows:
- Name: Enter a name to help you identify the number(s) to be blocked.
- Number: Enter the number or pattern to block.
- For a specific number, enter for example
2134567890
. - For a pattern, use wildcards like
9*
to block all numbers starting with9
. - Type: Select the type from the drop-down list.
- Inbound: Block the number(s) from calling into the PBX.
- Outbound: Block the number(s) from calling out from the PBX.
- Both: Block the number(s) both ways.
- Click Save and Apply.

Result
The blocked number list is displayed on the web page and the added numbers will be blocked based on the type you selected.
