🌐 Set up Fax over IP (FoIP)

Fax over IP (FoIP) allows the PBX to send and receive fax messages over the Internet. This section describes how to enable the T.38 protocol on extensions and trunks and how to configure the T.38 settings for the fax transmission over VoIP.

Enable T.38 Protocol for SIP Extension

  • To register a SIP extension as T.38 compatible to send and receive faxes:
  1. Log in to PBX web portal.
  2. Go to Extensions and Trunk > Extensions, then select the desired extension.
  3. Go to Advanced Settings and enable T.38 Support.
  4. Click Save and Apply.
