Extension Presence Overview

The presence feature indicates a user's current status. It allows everyone in your organization to see whether other users are available.

What is Presence?

IZT Cloud Voice provides the following presence statuses:
Available:The user is online and ready for communication.
Away:The user is away from the desk.
Business Trip:The user is on a business trip.
Do Not Disturb:The user does not want to be disturbed and won't receive any calls.
Lunch Break:The user is on a lunch break.
Off Work:The user is currently off work.

How Presence Benefits Users

Presence status allows the system to adjust various settings:
Presence Information
Displays current presence details.
Call Forwarding
Redirect calls based on presence.
Ring Strategies
Adjust endpoints' ring strategies based on presence.
Queue Agent Status
Adjusts agent status if the user is in a queue.
Voicemail Greetings
Changes voicemail greetings based on presence.

Presence Switch

Manual Switch

Users can manually switch their own presence using IZT Cloud Voice clients or by dialing a feature code.

Automatic Switch

Automatically switch based on business hours and holidays.
