The IZT Cloud Voice's Organization feature helps you organize personnel by department based on their specific skills and roles, enabling streamlined administration with department-level control.

Organization vs Extension Group

IZT Cloud Voice offers both Organization and Extension Group features to help manage and categorize extensions efficiently.

Organization

The Organization feature is ideal for establishing a hierarchy within a company, especially for larger companies with multiple departments or those emphasizing the separation of duties.

Extension Group

Same-layer groups
Displayed in strict alphabetical order.
Group permission presets
Offering granular control over users' call permissions.
Per-group basis permissions
Different permissions tailored for various groups' needs.
Per-user role permissions
Role-based assignments, including Manager, User, and Custom roles.

Organization Application

After enabling the Organization feature and setting up departments, you can achieve the following:
On IZT Cloud Voice clients, users can search for and find colleagues by departments.
Version Requirements:
  • IZT Cloud Voice iOS version: 1.0 or later
  • IZT Cloud Voice Android version: 1.0 or later
  • IZT Cloud Voice Web Client: 1.0 or later
Important Note
Access to the Operator Panel is governed by the Extension Group control, irrespective of the Organization feature status.
