π Enable or Disable Voicemail Access PIN
A voicemail access PIN is helpful to prevent unauthorized access. This topic describes how to enable or disable voicemail access PIN.
Enable or Disable Voicemail Access PIN for Extension Voicemail
- Log in to PBX web portal, go to Extension and Trunk > Extensions, edit the desired extension.
- Click Voicemail tab.
- Under the Voicemail PIN Authentication drop-down list, select
Enabled
to enable the voicemail access PIN, or selectDisabled
to disable the voicemail access PIN. - Click Save and Apply.
Enable or Disable Voicemail Access PIN for Group Voicemail
- Log in to PBX web portal, go to Call Features > Voicemail > Group Voicemail, edit the desired group voicemail.
- Click Voicemail tab.
- Under the Voicemail PIN Authentication drop-down list, select
Enabled
to enable the voicemail access PIN, or selectDisabled
to disable the voicemail access PIN. - Click Save and Apply.
