π Set Distinctive Ringtones for Internal Calls
When an extension user hears the ringtone of an internal incoming call, you can set a specific ringtone for their phones to recognize it.
Procedure
Set Alert Info for Internal Calls on the PBX
- Log in to IZT Cloud Voice web portal, go to PBX > Settings > Advanced.
- Click Alert Info tab.
- In the General section, enter "alert info text" and link it for internal Alert-Info field.

- Click Save and Apply.
Set a Specific Ringtone for a Phone
For users who want to apply a specific ringtone for internal calls on their phones, you can set a specific ringtone for their phones by auto provisioning.
Users who can log in to phone web interface and select ringtone manually on the IP phones. For more information, contact the phone manufacturer.
Prerequisites
- Ensure the userβs extension is bound with a phone.
- To be set for users with distinctive ringtone from the user's extension.
Procedure
- Set distinctive ringtones for a user:
- Log in to PBX web portal, go to Extension and Trunk > Extension, edit the user's extension.
- In the General section, check the boxes:
- Distinctive Ringtone
- In the field, enter the "Alert Info" that is pre-defined for internal calls.
- In this example, select "Internal".

- Click Save.
- Reprovision the phone to take effect.
- Go to Auto Provision IP phones > Phones.
- Click beside the phone assigned to the user's extension.
Result
The user's phone rings Ring1.wav
when receiving internal calls.
