🎙️ Record or Upload Voicemail Greetings

This topic describes how to record or upload voicemail greetings for extension voicemail or group voicemail.

Background Information

The personalized greetings can delight the caller and inform them why you’re unavailable and how they can move forward. To set up an individualized greeting, follow the instructions below. It’s easy to customize greetings in two ways:

1. Record a custom voicemail message.
2. Upload an audio file.

Note:

• The uploaded file should meet the audio file requirements.

Record or Upload Voicemail Greetings for Extension Voicemail

1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Extension and Trunk > Extensions, edit the desired extension.
2. Click Voicemail tab.
3. In the Voicemail Greeting section, click Greeting Management.
4. Select a greeting type:

• Default or Presence, click on the desired type to manage the greeting.

5. Under Play or Record select to add or change the greetings for extension voicemail.
6. Follow the prompts to record a greeting message.
7. Click Save and Apply.

Record or Upload Voicemail Greetings for Group Voicemail

1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Call Features > Voicemail > Group Voicemail, edit the desired group voicemail.
2. Go to the Voicemail tab.
3. In the Voicemail Greeting section, click Greeting Management.
4. Select a greeting type:

• Greeting Management: Select the greeting type available for group voicemail.

5. Under Play or Record select either to add or change the greetings for group voicemail.
6. Click Save and Apply.
