πŸ“₯ Inbound Route Overview

On this page, you will learn about how to set up inbound routes so that your IZT Cloud Voice can direct calls to the right destination based on several criteria.

Types of Inbound Call Routing

IZT Cloud Voice has the following types of inbound call routing based on different criteria, such as time, DID numbers, and Caller ID:

Time-based call routing

  • Time-based call routing connects callers to different destinations based on the specified time conditions.
  • The system will route inbound calls according to your company’s time schedules.

DID-based call routing

  • Direct Inward Dialing (DID) routes calls based on the phone numbers (also known as DID) that callers dialed.
  • The system will route calls to specific destinations based on the DID rules in the inbound routes module.

Caller ID-based call routing

  • This allows routing inbound calls based on Caller ID numbers.
  • The system matches the caller ID and redirects the calls to predefined destinations.

Global Inbound Routes

  • You can set up multiple criteria on an inbound route. For example, route inbound calls based on time and DID number, or route inbound calls based on DID number and Caller ID number.
