π₯ Set up Group Voicemail for a Ring Group
You can set up a Group Voicemail for a ring group. All members of the ring group will get notified when a group voicemail message is received.
Procedure
- Log in to PBX web portal, go to Call Features > Voicemail > Group Voicemail.
- Click Add.
- Under General tab, configure the following settings:
Setting Information for Ring Group Voicemail
Type | Setting | Description |

Ring Group | Select Ring Group | Select a ring group. This ring group will be associated with the created group voicemail box. This name defines group members making calls through settings and remains uneditable. |
Group Voicemail | Enter Group Voicemail Name | This is the name that will identify voicemail received. We recommend a descriptive name for easy identification. |
Voicemail PIN Authentication | Add PIN | Select the members: Enter the group members to be included in the group voicemail. All the members added here share access. |
Play Caller ID | Optional | Play the callerβs information before voicemail plays. |
Play Call Time | Optional | The default time before the call time information plays. |
Max Message Duration | Optional | Specify the maximum duration for recording an individual voicemail message. |
- In the Members section, add agents as group members who belong to the selected Ring Group.
- Update Voicemail Greeting under General.
- Click Save and Apply.
The created greeting settings are shared with members.
