🔧 Enable Hot Desking for an Extension User

This topic describes how to enable hot desking for an extension user, so that the user can log in and use a hot desking phone with their own extension number.

Procedure

  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Extension and Trunk > Extension.
  2. Click Edit beside the extension.
  3. Click the Features tab.
  4. In the Hot Desking section, turn on the Hot Desking feature.
Enable Hot Desking
  1. Configure other settings as indicated:
  • Log out of Queue: Specify dynamic configured extension log out as detailed.
  • Automatic Guest Out: Automatically user log out option needed settings covering time constraints:
  1. Click Save and Apply.

Result

  • The user will be able to log in to any hot desking phone using valid user identifying extension user efficiently correctly configured respectively.

Hot desking reflecting valid updated enabling verifying ensuring structured configurations.
