πŸ”§ Set up an IVR

IZT Cloud Voice provides easy-to-create menus allowing you to set up an IVR and keep up with changing requirements. This topic describes the steps to set up an IVR.

Procedure

  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Call Features > IVR, click Add.
  2. In the Basic tab, under Settings, set the following:

IVR Basic Settings Information

SettingDescription
NameSpecify your IVR name. Use a unique identifier ensures easier recognition.
NumberSpecify a virtual number for callers to access the IVR.
Key Press EventsChoose how the IVR handles caller inputs during the response.
Dial Extensions Key.Enable users to press a number to pass along extensions to the diverted calls.

Key Press Events:

  • Call route settings based on the primary events (Ex: β€˜#’, etc)

  • Users press: Transfer to the desired extension:

  • Response Events: Specifies call as user prompted by IVR call prompt, continued by IVR.

  • Event by Key-Press:

  • Direct: Occurs automatically based on the response:

  • Continue the caller input routes accordingly:
