Extension Overview
An extension is an internal number that allows users to make and receive calls within the organization. You can assign extensions to every employee, ensuring smooth communication.
Extension Types
IZT Cloud Voice supports SIP extensions based on the SIP protocol.
To use a SIP extension for making or receiving calls, you need to register the extension on an IP phone or a softphone. For more information, see Create a SIP Extension and Set Up a SIP Phone.
Online Status
The online status feature allows you to view the status of phone endpoints and IZT Cloud Voice clients.
Indicates that the SIP extension is registered and ready for use. Hover over the phone icon to view the IP addresses where the extension is registered.
Indicates that the IZT Cloud Voice Desktop Client is ready for use.
Indicates that the IZT Cloud Voice Mobile Client is ready for use.
Indicates that the IZT Cloud Voice Web Client is ready for use.
Tip: Check the online status frequently to ensure all extensions are properly registered and ready for use.
