To make sure that users can receive emergency notifications when an emergency call occurs, IZT Cloud Voice sends a notification to remind the emergency contacts who dialed which emergency number.

Procedure

  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Call Control > Emergency Number > Notification Contacts.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Notification Contact: Enter the name of the notification contact.
  4. Notification Method: Select the method of receiving emergency notifications.
  • Email: The PBX will send an emergency email notification to the specified address.
  • Call Mobile: The PBX will call the mobile number and play the emergency notification prompt.
  • Call Extension: The PBX will call the extension number and play the emergency notification prompt.
  1. Send Email: Enter the email address of the contact.

To ensure that PBX can successfully send the email notification, make sure that the Email Server is configured correctly.

  1. Call Mobile: Enter the mobile number of the contact.

To ensure that PBX can successfully call the mobile number, make sure that the Prefix is configured correctly.

  1. Call Extension: Enter the extension number of the contact.

To ensure that PBX can successfully call the extension number, make sure that the extension exists and is registered correctly.

  1. Click Save and Apply.
