π Add an Emergency Notification Contact
To make sure that users can receive emergency notifications when an emergency call occurs, IZT Cloud Voice sends a notification to remind the emergency contacts who dialed which emergency number.
Procedure
- Log in to PBX web portal, go to Call Control > Emergency Number > Notification Contacts.
- Click Add.
- Notification Contact: Enter the name of the notification contact.
- Notification Method: Select the method of receiving emergency notifications.
- Email: The PBX will send an emergency email notification to the specified address.
- Call Mobile: The PBX will call the mobile number and play the emergency notification prompt.
- Call Extension: The PBX will call the extension number and play the emergency notification prompt.
- Send Email: Enter the email address of the contact.
To ensure that PBX can successfully send the email notification, make sure that the Email Server is configured correctly.
- Call Mobile: Enter the mobile number of the contact.
To ensure that PBX can successfully call the mobile number, make sure that the Prefix is configured correctly.
- Call Extension: Enter the extension number of the contact.
To ensure that PBX can successfully call the extension number, make sure that the extension exists and is registered correctly.
- Click Save and Apply.
