π§ Create a Ring Group
This topic describes how to create a ring group.
Procedure
- Log in to PBX web portal, go to Call Features > Ring Group, click Add.
- Enter a Ring Group Name for callers to access the group.
- Ring Strategy: Select how to distribute calls to members.
- Ring Timeout: Set the ringing time duration before redirecting.
- Failover Destination: Select the destination if the call is not answered. Options include extensions, queues, etc.
Music on Hold/Prompt Use:

- Play a custom prompt:

Missed Call Handling
- Select Record Missed ensuring alert configuration.
- Optional recorded missed alerts ensuring varying connected tasks.
This option is available only when both Ring Strategy and Failover Destination are set to the followings:
- Ring Strategy is set to Ring All or Memory Hunt.
- Failover Destination is set to Extension, Queue, or Ring Group.
You can also set up email alerts on missed calls from ring group for members. For this, enable this option and turn on email notifications on missed calls in members' settings.
- Click Save and Apply.
