📧 Receive Faxes by Email

IZT Cloud Edition provides a fax-to-email feature that allows you to receive faxes as PDF documents by email. This section explains how to configure this feature.

Prerequisites

ℹ️ Ensure that the PBX system is online, and that you have configured extensions and email accounts to receive faxes.

Procedure

  1. Log in to PBX web portal, and go to Call Control > Inbound Route.
  2. Edit the inbound route for incoming faxes.
  3. In the Default Destination field, set the destination where you want to receive faxes:
  • Fax Extension: Select an extension to receive faxes by email.
  • Fax-to-Email: Enter the email address to receive faxes as PDF documents.

  1. In the Extensions panel, select an extension to receive faxes by email.

  1. Click Save and Apply.

Result

When receiving a fax, the PBX detects the fax signal and forward the fax to the specified email address as a PDF attachment.
