Restrict Outbound Calls for an Extension
This section outlines the steps to restrict outbound calls for an extension.
Toll Fraud Warning
Toll fraud is a global problem in the telecommunications industry. It happens when hackers access your PBX system and make expensive phone calls from existing accounts. To prevent toll fraud, you can restrict outbound calls for an extension.
Procedure
Follow these steps to restrict outbound calls:

Log in to the IZT Cloud web portal.

Go to Extension and Trunk > Extension, and edit the desired extension.

Click the Security tab.

In the Call Restrictions section, select the checkbox for Disable Outbound Calls.

Click Save and Apply.
Result
Users cannot make outbound calls even if the extensions are selected in outbound routes.
Important: Emergency Calls like 911 are not restricted.
On the Extension list, a warning indicator will be displayed in front of the extension.
To Cancel Restrictions:
To cancel the restriction of outbound calls, edit the extension, go to the Security tab, and unselect the checkbox for Disable Outbound Calls in the Call Restrictions section.
