π Switch Business Hours and Holidays
Business Hours and Holidays determine how a call is handled. The system routes a call to different destinations based on the business hours and holidays. This topic describes how to switch the phone system to work in business hours or holidays manually.
Background information
The system can switch the phone system according to the Business Hours and Holiday set by the administrator. There are three periods:
- Business Hours: The hours in which your business is actively open.
- Outside Business Hours: The time periods for working days during which the employees are not working.
- Holidays: Special dates set by the business to indicate when the office is closed.
Scenario
- When an emergency occurs and to assist or help within the company, the system can switch from business hours to outside business hours or holidays manually.
- During layover tasks and system checks for holidays, you can switch the phone system to work outside business hours for testing purposes.
Prerequisites
- Business Hours and Holidays status permission is required.
- Admin access for settings changes.
Procedure
- In the upper left corner of operator panel, click ![Business Hours]!

- In the pop-up dialog box, click Yes.
The system prompts you whether to switch the time.
- The system can automatically switch between business hours to business hours, or the system can automatically switch to the holiday time based on the setting of business hours and holidays.
- Click Yes to confirm the switch, the status is switched.
