This topic describes how to enable or disable message envelopes.
Background Information
Message envelope is given before a voicemail message is played. Message envelope includes the following information:
- Date and time that the message was received.
- Caller ID information.
Configure Message Envelope for Extension Voicemail
- Log in to PBX web portal, go to Extension and Trunk > Extension, edit the desired extension.
- In the Voicemail section, activate the message envelope by enabling the following options:
- Play Date and Time: Play the date and time that the message was received.
- Play Caller ID: Play the caller ID information.
- Play Message Duration: Play the duration of the message.
- Click Save and Apply.
Configure Message Envelope for Group Voicemail
- Log in to PBX web portal, go to Call Features > Voicemail > Group Voicemail, edit the desired group voicemail.
- In the Voicemail section, activate the message envelope by enabling the following options:
- Play Date and Time: Play the date and time that the message was received.
- Play Caller ID: Play the caller ID information.
- Play Message Duration: Play the duration of the message.
- Click Save and Apply.
